Since the beginning of 2018, Lân Fan Taal has been a free state that welcomes all languages. We celebrate language with – mostly freely accessible – festivals, projections, exhibitions and activities. Lân Fan Taal is also part of the Re-Opening of LF2018, and has organised a great programme for November.
Well-known children’s bookmaker Charlotte Dematons drew the vocabulary development illustration ‘Zinspinsels’ for the Frisian libraries and Lân fan taal. After the storytelling festival in May, the events programmed by Expedition Ameland will continue. In the summer of 2018, you can come and listen to multilingual stories in the museums of Ameland every Wednesday afternoon.
