This Easter weekend it’s finally time for a new part of Lân fan taal to be officially opened in the Prinsentuin of Leeuwarden! Are you aware of how important arable farmers are for your daily meal? The potato weeks in Het Bildt will highlight this with surprising literary projects and events. One fantastic element is a poetic exchange with Valetta, which is the other European Capital of Culture in 2018!

In Leeuwarden, a gigantic “Goldberg machine” that has never been seen before will be constructed: an energetic chain reaction of installations and human actions. It will wind through the city in a figure-of-eight shaped route. And you can actively contribute, either as a resident or visitor!
