Since the beginning of 2018, Lân Fan Taal has been a free state that welcomes all languages. We celebrate language with – mostly freely accessible – festivals, projections, exhibitions and activities. Lân Fan Taal is also part of the Re-Opening of LF2018, and has organised a great programme for November.

De Oldehove is the unique projection screen for the short musical film, ‘1954 – We zijn er bijna’ (1954 – We’re almost there) by VANTA, WERC Collective and Fresku. Every weekend at 20.00 hours.

Language at the Northern Film Festival
Playing with language. During the Northern Film Festival, children can make stop-motion films about language, and writers/performers will get to work on language film archives from the Northern Netherlands.
